About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at Plastipak Holdings. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on blow molding and injection molding manufacturing equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures to improve equipment efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Participate in changeovers to ensure efficient and correct execution, minimizing production downtime.
  • Repair and rebuild spare parts as needed to maintain equipment functionality.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, operational practices, and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Expand your expertise through formal training and on-the-job experiences, including new equipment installation and equipment modification projects.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; relevant technical training or certification a plus.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Gem Wheel, Husky, Sidel, Palletizer, and Airveyor preferred.
  • Solid hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical knowledge required, with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
  • Ability to interpret technical and operational documents, including manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on aerial platforms up to 20 feet with or without reasonable accommodation.
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate of $28-$33 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Night shift differential of $1.25 per hour.
