This is a full-time opportunity that involves selling and merchandising Schwebel's diverse product portfolio to existing and new customers while operating a Schwebel's branded bread truck.
Main Objectives:- Sell, deliver, stock, and merchandise Schwebel brand products to various retail establishments, including grocery stores, restaurants, schools, and food retailers.
- Build lasting relationships with customers based on trust and mutual respect.
- Ensure timely product delivery and maintain a well-organized vehicle.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase revenue streams.
- Communicate product knowledge and offer personalized suggestions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Order bread products and manage inventory levels effectively.
- Perform routine pre and post-trip inspections to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Prior experience in route sales is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Must be at least 21 years old to meet insurance requirements.
- Hold a valid driver's license and be capable of obtaining a DOT physical examination.
- Exhibit a safe driving record and commit to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Previous experience in wholesale commercial bread sales is advantageous.
- Demonstrate proficiency in handheld computing applications.
- Be adaptable to changing circumstances within the work environment.
- Regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
- Continuously reach, frequently sit, stand, bend, squat, walk, kneel, climb, and drive.
- Occasionally push or pull items weighing up to 300 pounds.
