Surgical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Preoperative and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse to join our team at MedStar Lafayette Surgery Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our state-of-the-art outpatient surgical facility.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing care of patients from admission through discharge.
- Collaborate with patients and families to provide theory-based professional nursing care and coordinate care delivery with physicians and other healthcare team members.
- Independently manage patient care and make decisions based on sound clinical judgment.
- BSN from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- At least 1 year of previous Preop/PACU experience required.
- Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
