Job Summary:

BayMark Health Services is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recovery Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting clients on their journey to recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervision and support to clients, promoting a safe and supportive environment.
  • Assist clients in achieving their recovery goals by offering guidance and support based on the application of the 12 Steps.
  • Collaborate with clinicians to provide comprehensive care and support to clients.
  • Develop and implement growth opportunities to support client recovery.
  • Participate in the admission and discharge process, ensuring a smooth transition for clients.
  • Transport clients to and from 12-step meetings, medical appointments, and other activities.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 12-step recovery knowledge a plus
  • Some computer proficiency
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and develop quality rapport with clients
  • Prior work experience in a substance abuse facility a plus
  • Satisfactory background check and drug screen
