About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Culinary Aide to join our team at Grace Lutheran Communities Willowbrook Campus. As a Culinary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high-quality food service experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Portion food and beverages accurately and efficiently
  • Work in a tray line position, preparing resident nourishments
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and carriers
  • Assist the Chef in meal preparation and service
  • Read and arrange diet card tray identification labels in proper order
  • Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements:

  • Lifts and carries food supplies weighing 50 pounds occasionally
  • Lifts and carries dishes, food trays weighing up to 25 pounds frequently
  • Pushes/pulls dish lowraters/dishcarts weighing 250-400 pounds a distance of 70 feet occasionally
  • Constantly grasps, frequently twists, stoops, bends
  • Frequently works on slippery, wet floors
