Job Summary

Actalent is seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team in Austin, TX. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for determining the acceptability of specimens for testing, working in hematology, chemistry, immunology, and microbiology, and preparing, testing, and evaluating new reagents or controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
  • Work in hematology, chemistry, immunology, and microbiology, and blood bank
  • Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls
  • Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience working in a lab setting is mandatory
  • ASCP or AMT certification in MLT, CLS, MLS, or MT is mandatory
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science is a must
  • Blood bank experience is preferred
