MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our team for a travel assignment in Washington, District of Columbia.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrophysiology and experience working in a fast-paced laboratory environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to the cardiac catheterization and EP team, including preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and communicating with physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to the cardiac catheterization and EP team
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including verifying medical orders and reviewing patient history
  • Operate imaging equipment to help diagnose and treat heart and blood vessel issues
  • Communicate with physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Electrophysiology Labs

Requirements:

  • Current License in good standing
  • Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
  • Eighteen months of EP Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting
