Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Methodist ER Legacy Trails. As a key member of our patient care team, you will provide high-quality, efficient care to patients in our 24/7 freestanding emergency center.

Responsibilities
  • Apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, and scientific judgment to deliver safe nursing care to patients.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
  • Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serving as a resource to the patient care team.
  • Accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and promoting a positive image of nursing.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
About Methodist ER Legacy Trails

Our 7,000 square foot facility includes 7 all-private treatment rooms and a full range of services such as radiology, a full-service laboratory, and telemetry. We offer the benefit of immediate intervention for emergencies where treatment time is critical, including 24-hour monitoring and testing of patients, such as chest pain cases.

Our compassionate team of medical professionals work to stabilize critical patients and transport, should they need hospitalization, to a Methodist hospital in San Antonio.
