Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT scanners to capture high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues
  • Position patients correctly for scanning to ensure accurate and safe imaging
  • Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes
  • Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety
  • Correctly interpret doctors' written scanning instructions
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
  • Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in CT scan, angiograms, and CT procedures in a hospital setting
  • EPIC experience required
  • ARRT certification
  • Radiation license
  • COVID vaccine with booster
  • BLS certification
  • Associate's degree in nursing, required
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, preferred
