Preconstruction Director Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Preconstruction Director to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the preconstruction process, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Coordinate the preparation of bids and GMPs, ensuring that all necessary information is provided to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure a smooth transition from preconstruction to construction.
  • Lead value engineering and value enhancement efforts to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Prepare and present project information to clients, including budgets, schedules, and technical details.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.
  • Maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Professional licenses and registrations a plus.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with estimating, scheduling, and project management software.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead meetings and presentations with confidence and authority.
