Phlebotomist I Job Summary

Equiliem Healthcare is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist I to join our team. As a Phlebotomist I, you will be responsible for performing daily activities accurately and on time, maintaining a safe and professional environment, and performing with confidence both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and process blood samples from patients with confidence and accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of specimen collection and processing.
  • Work independently with minimal on-site supervision, demonstrating organizational commitment and promoting a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
  • Provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to established practices and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
  • Minimum of 6 months experience, with one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
