Position Overview:
Join Select Specialty Hospital - Northern Kentucky as a Nursing Assistant (STNA / CNA / SRNA).

We offer Full-Time Day shifts with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week. Compensation ranges from $18 to $21.94 per hour, with additional pay differentials for weekend shifts. A generous sign-on bonus of $2,500 is currently available.

Key Responsibilities:

As a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA), you will collaborate with skilled healthcare professionals, including top critical care nurses. Your role will involve:
- Assisting with patient care tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Performing essential duties such as bathing, oral hygiene, and feeding.
- Responding promptly to patient requests and ensuring their comfort.
- Participating in hourly rounds to monitor patient needs.
- Transporting patients as required and assisting with mobility.
- Maintaining cleanliness of medical equipment and patient areas.
- Managing inventory of supplies as directed.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience (3+ years).
- State Tested/Registered Nursing Assistant Certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.

Prior experience in a hospital setting as a nursing assistant or in a related field is essential.


Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of fundamental nursing techniques, aseptic practices, and cardiopulmonary procedures.
- Nursing students may be considered for assistant roles with appropriate approval.
