Produce Department Manager

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a highly skilled Produce Manager to lead our produce department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the sales and operation of the produce department, ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality products and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities- Manage the daily operations of the produce department, including quality control, merchandising, and inventory management.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of produce associates, providing coaching, feedback, and one-on-one development discussions.
- Recruit, hire, and make promotion/transfer decisions in collaboration with the Store Manager.
- Ensure maximum productivity and efficiency by creating and adjusting schedules and staffing levels.
- Communicate standards, expectations, policy changes, and product knowledge to team members.
- Lead a team that collaborates to deliver the finest quality of product, highest level of service, and the greatest experience for our customers.
- At least 18 years of age and 1-3 years of experience working in a grocery retail setting with management experience in produce.
- A basic knowledge of math, weights, and measures.
- Good communication skills and the ability to take direction and participate in a team environment.
- Ability to perform general housekeeping in the department, including cleaning and sanitizing work areas.
- Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations.
