Produce Department Manager

At Sprouts Farmers Market, we're seeking a highly skilled Produce Manager to lead our Produce Department. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for driving sales and operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the sales and operation of the Produce Department, ensuring high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
- Manage inventory, maintain a clean and organized department, and implement effective merchandising strategies.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, feedback, and opportunities for growth and development.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to recruit, hire, and promote team members, ensuring a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Exercise independent judgment to address team member concerns, take corrective actions when necessary, and maintain a positive and respectful work culture.
- Develop and implement schedules and staffing plans to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
- Communicate company policies, product knowledge, and sales strategies to team members, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- At least 18 years of age and 1-3 years of experience in a grocery retail setting with management experience in produce.
- Basic knowledge of math, weights, and measures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
