Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at the Walbec Group. As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in preparing cost estimates for private, municipal, state, and federal entities. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality construction services and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare project estimates and cost analyses
  • Interpret plans and specifications
  • Conduct pre-estimate job site reviews
  • Update historical market and competitor research data
  • Submit cost estimates to clients using software such as AASHTOWare and Bid Express Expedite Bid

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Project management experience in heavy civil construction
  • Previous estimating experience in heavy civil, commercial, and industrial construction
  • Self-motivated with ability to work individually or in a team environment
