Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Johnstone Supply. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for fulfilling orders, replenishing inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process incoming orders from suppliers
  • Meet deadlines and schedules for routine procedures and deliveries
  • Handle shipping and receiving activity, including UPS, auto freight, and LTL shipments
  • Ensure pick/pack and transfer orders are accurate and completed according to the daily schedule
  • Check-in corporate orders the same day they are received
  • Maintain accurate inventory locations and ensure materials are in good order and condition
  • Operate pallet movers, hand-trucks, and forklift trucks according to safety regulations
  • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse machinery and equipment
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Certification in Forklift Operation and experience with a picker, RF scanner, and inventory management
  • Must be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
