About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at AnthroMed Education in Lansing, IL.

Job Summary

This part-time position involves working with a caseload of approximately 22 students with mild to moderate disabilities. The school is looking for an SLP who will work for around 14-16 hours per week but will be given the flexibility to make their schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Complete evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth
  • Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to students
  • Assist case manager with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and classroom teachers to meet the students' speech and/or language needs
  • Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans
  • Facilitate staff and community training in the area of communication disorders
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Communication Disorders
  • IDFPR license eligible in the state of Illinois
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois
  • Preferred experience in a K-12 setting
What We Offer
  • Full Salary paid weekly (52-week salary)
  • $55,000 - $70,000 based on experience (prorated for part-time hours)

  • Yearly licensure reimbursement for ISBE, IDFPR, and ASHA
