Responsibilities:- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including surgeries and exams
- Take vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and respiration rate
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, answering questions and addressing concerns
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
- Assist with laboratory tests and procedures
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or a related field preferred
- Experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital
- Strong understanding of veterinary procedures and terminology
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
