Key Responsibilities:- Support veterinarians in providing quality care, advocating for pets, and educating clients.
- Assist with surgeries, procedures, and laboratory tests, ensuring compliance with state Veterinary Practice Acts.
- Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns, offering guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
- Maintain accurate, comprehensive medical records, utilizing practice systems to streamline documentation.
- Obtain relevant health history and information from clients, ensuring seamless medical charting.
- Employ safe restraining techniques, adhere to standard protocols, and maintain clean, sterile treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
- Guide, mentor, and support fellow team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Veterinary technician licensure preferred; 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Technician preferred.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program preferred; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
