Atrium Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in a PRN variable shift position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in nursing principles and be able to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities:**

* Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
* Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
* Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments

**Requirements:**

* Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Georgia or Alabama
* Graduation from an accredited School of Practical Nursing
* Successful completion of Pharmacology exam
* Current American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, recertified annually
* Completion of competency checklist within first 90 days of employment
* Completion of unit specific recommendations within one year

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Previous experience in a hospital or medical office
* Evidence of continuing professional development
