Hospice Care Assistant Opportunity
Tidewell Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide exceptional care to patients in our Hospice Houses. As a key member of our team, you will deliver emotional and physical support to our patients and their primary caregivers under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities:
- Provide overall care to patients, including basic personal care and household tasks to assist primary caregivers.
- Educate patients and primary caregivers on personal care, patient positioning, and daily living skills.
Requirements:
- Florida State Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Current CPR certification
- One year of recent experience in hospice, home health, or acute-care setting preferred
- CHPNA certification strongly encouraged within three years of hiring
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
