Job Summary

Hunter Truck is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for performing advanced maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform unsupervised advanced maintenance and repairs on all truck systems.
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other truck systems.
  • Assist other technicians with major repairs and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer technical bulletins and industry developments to ensure optimal repair techniques.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational technical school training or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company insurability standards.
  • Medium and/or Heavy Duty truck experience preferred.
