We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Schneider Electric USA, Inc. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for performing assembly operations in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to factory regulations and safety rules, and ensuring the quality of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Start each job with a verified first piece of product that meets quality standards, follows in-process inspection procedures, and verifies inspections are completing records.
- Perform assembly operations in a safe manner based on prescribed safety methods as instructed by supervisor and/or leader.
- Assemble sub-assembly and final assembly based on standardized manufacturing routings in an efficient manner in compliance with cycle times and production.
- Work in a union facility, with required overtime, and wear personal protective equipment including eye protection, hearing protection, safety shoes, and gloves when required.
- Notify supervisors or leader of faulty operation of tools and equipment, adhere to factory regulations and safety rules, and handle non-hazardous plant waste in a manner that ensures compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Must be able to work daily and/or weekly overtime.
- Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- English language proficiency (reading, writing, oral) is required.
