Your Responsibilities

In your capacity as a Senior Managing Consultant, you will become a vital member of our global Air & Climate team, assisting clients with a diverse array of intricate environmental challenges.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Fostering client relationships and overseeing the development of deliverables to efficiently meet client requirements;
  • Managing projects, client interactions, and relationships with regulatory agencies;
  • Thoroughly reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations, compiling and drafting regulatory applicability assessments, and communicating findings to colleagues, clients, and regulatory bodies;
  • Estimating emissions and performing engineering evaluations of air pollution sources;
  • Supervising the preparation of comprehensive federal and state air permit application documents;
  • Acting as the technical lead, guiding Consultant-level staff on complex projects;
  • Participating in local, national, and international scientific and trade group meetings;
  • Conducting site assessments; and
  • Adhering to Ramboll and client safety training and workplace safety protocols.

About You

From your first day at Ramboll, we will prioritize your personal and professional development, supporting your growth within our organization. For this role, we have identified several qualifications, skills, and attributes that will contribute to your success:

  • B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering or a related scientific discipline
  • 15-20 years of experience in air quality, primarily in a consulting context, with a focus on the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and life sciences sectors
  • Proficient computing skills, including advanced use of spreadsheets and word processing software
  • Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
  • Proven experience in understanding, interpreting, and applying environmental regulations to practical scenarios
  • Programming, database, and GIS skills are advantageous but not mandatory

Salary Transparency Statement

At Ramboll, your base salary is just one component of your overall compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is expected to offer an annual base salary between $130,000 and $158,000. Actual compensation may vary based on numerous factors, including experience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training, and skill level, and does not encompass bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
