At Intellectt Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing high-volume Body-in-White (BIW) designs.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop BIW designs using CATIA V6, with a focus on creating 3D designs and 2D drawings.
- Collaborate with offshore teams to drive design projects, ensuring cost, mass, joining methods, formability, and performance are optimized.
- Interpret CAE simulation results and integrate recommendations into product design.
- Work closely with key suppliers and support overall vehicle development milestones and prototype/production build events.
- Apply strong knowledge of Design for Manufacturing, including GD&T and dimensional engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in BIW design, with a strong background in CATIA V6.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive offshore teams.
