Job Description:

As a Lifeguard at Goldfish Swim School - Sylvania, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety of our patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies. Your duties will include:

  • Maintaining constant surveillance of patrons in the facility and acting immediately and appropriately to secure their safety in the event of an accident or emergency.
  • Communicating the rules of the facility to patrons fairly and consistently.
  • Providing emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of medical services.
  • Ensuring that medical services are contacted by the most appropriate means when necessary to respond to an emergency.
  • Providing a Golden Experience to our students, families, and team members.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum age of 16 years old.
  • The ability to work with children.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must pass background examinations prior to training.

Certifications:

You will be required to obtain and maintain current certifications in Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid within 90 days of hire. We provide certification classes in our facility.
