Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our Student Health and Counseling Center team. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide medical and administrative support to our healthcare team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical support to healthcare providers, including preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs, and administering vaccines and TB tests.
  • Assist with patient flow, ensuring efficient and timely care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of tests and procedures.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, data collection, and statistical analysis.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and maintain filing systems for patient records and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a certified Medical Assistant program.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
