About the Role

The RN Supervisor II, Cancer Services is a leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of the Cancer Services Department. This role requires a strong understanding of the department's functions and a ability to lead a team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily clinical operations of the Cancer Services Department
  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals to ensure effective delivery of patient care
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve departmental efficiency
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve departmental goals
  • Monitor and evaluate departmental performance to identify areas for improvement
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved RN program
  • 5-7 years clinical RN experience
  • 2+ years oncology, infusion, or equivalent specialty experience
  • 2+ years of supervisor/management experience and/or related leadership role
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association
  • Completion of ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Course or Radiation Therapy Certificate Course within 3 months of employment
  • Completion of Oncology Nurse Certification (OCN) within 24 months of employment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Ambulatory clinic experience
  • Oncology Nurse Certification (OCN)
  • Experience with EPIC, Area, and/or Beacon
  • Strong IV/vascular access skills to include accessing port-a-caths
