  3. Participate in patient and family education, ensuring seamless communication and care coordination.
  4. Maintain accurate and complete records, ensuring timely and efficient documentation.
  5. Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
  6. Engage in ongoing professional development, maintaining certification in BLS and ACLS, and pursuing additional specialty training as required.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in South Carolina.
  • 2+ years of experience in urgent care or emergency medicine.
  • DEA registration (preferred).
  • Eligibility for credentialing as part of the Prisma Health Urgent Care & Prisma medical staff.
  • BLS certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
