Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the hospitalist program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, reduce readmissions, and enhance patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based clinical practices and protocols.
- Lead and manage a team of hospitalists, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure optimal performance and job satisfaction.
- Develop and manage budgets, resources, and personnel to ensure the effective operation of the hospitalist program.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Represent the hospitalist program in internal and external forums, promoting the program's mission, vision, and values.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Completion of a hospital medicine fellowship or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hospital medicine, with a proven track record of leadership and clinical excellence.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
