Primary Care Physician Medical Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team as a Medical Director. As a key member of our primary care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our medical team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to patients, including routine check-ups, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Lead and manage our medical team, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as behavioral health and front office support staff, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
- Residency training in Family or Internal Medicine.
- Board certification or eligibility.
- Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
- Ability to successfully complete St. Mary's credentialing process.

Location:
This role will be based in Grand Junction, Colorado, at our Patterson Primary Care clinic.
Practice Call:
Practice call is currently 1:11 and runs from Wednesday 7pm to Wednesday 7am. During this time, you will be the sole provider for our Saturday acute care clinic from 8am to 12pm and one weekday will be cut in half to make up for this time.
