RN - MG4 Tele/Trauma - Full Time, Day Shift (St. Mary)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Tele/Trauma Unit at St. Mary Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect patient care, utilizing professional nursing skills and knowledge to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
- Assess learning needs, readiness to learn, and identify actual or potential barriers to learning, incorporating patient education into daily activities based on age, cultural, and spiritual values.
- Document admission assessment, plan, interventions, and medication use, monitoring its effects and outcomes according to policy.
- Utilize the information management system to enhance communication and document changes in patient condition to all appropriate individuals.
- Prioritize work assignments based on changing situations, communicating transfer of patient responsibility and pertinent information at the bedside and during interprofessional rounds.
- Recognize and integrate patient special needs, individualizing care and knowledgeable in abuse recognition and referral.
- Include pain management and supportive care issues in the plan of care.
- Adhere to infection control standards specific to patient care, promoting and maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly environment.
- ASN required, BSN preferred
