At SafeSplash Memphis, we're passionate about teaching kids and adults the joy and skill of swimming. As a Swim Instructor - Water Safety Specialist, you'll play a vital role in helping us achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach swimming skills to students of all ages and skill levels, following the SafeSplash curriculum.
  • Provide continuous, positive feedback to students and parents on their progress.
  • Structure class time to ensure repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of new skills.
  • Ensure swimmer safety at all times.
  • Maintain proper equipment and time organization to ensure timely class start times.
Requirements:
  • A demonstrated passion for working with kids and adults.
  • Previous swim instruction experience is preferred, but not required. Our extensive training program will prepare you to provide the highest quality swim instruction.
  • Current CPR certification is required. We'll provide training if you're not already certified.
  • Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers with special needs.
  • Candidates must be able to work weekday afternoons/evenings and/or weekends.
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds in weight.
