We are seeking a skilled Therapist to join our team at The Family Partnership. With over 140 years of experience in building strong families and communities, we are dedicated to providing high-quality, trauma-informed care to our clients.



Job Overview

As a Therapist with The Family Partnership, you will work with clients in our partner schools in the Minneapolis and Richfield area, providing individual, couple, group, and family counseling services. You will be responsible for evaluating clients, conducting diagnostic assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing crisis intervention services as needed.



Key Responsibilities

Client Services


  • Evaluate clients to determine appropriateness for TFP services
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify client needs
  • Develop tailored treatment plans to address client goals
  • Provide individual, couple, group, and family counseling services
  • Assess client fees and insurance information to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Keep accurate client records and reports up to date


Team Collaboration


  • Participate in weekly multi-disciplinary team meetings to share knowledge and best practices
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive care for clients
  • Contribute to the development of new programs and services


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:



Education and Experience


  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited school
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including low-income communities, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and other marginalized groups


Skills and Qualifications


  • Ability to work effectively with individuals, children, couples, groups, and families
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance and business aspects of mental health services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
