Key Responsibilities:
The Hospitality Services Associate is accountable for the complete process of assembling and delivering patient trays to various floors and directly to patient bedsides. This role includes:
- Executing dish room tasks efficiently.
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in work areas.
- Preparing a variety of food items, including snacks, sandwiches, pureed dishes, salads, appetizers, and desserts.
- Acting as a crucial link between patients, the Food and Nutrition Department, and Nursing Services during meal times to ensure all dietary needs are met.
This position also involves managing information related to patient dietary preferences, including menu distribution and collection. The associate may receive training for diet modifications and may take on responsibilities of a Lead Hospitality Associate as needed. Additional related duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a Host/Hostess or Diet Technician is preferred. Familiarity with collecting and correcting patient menus is advantageous. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to perform well under pressure.
