Job Summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Staff Intune Engineer to join our Defense Enclave Services (DES) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Microsoft Intune solutions to support an extensive digital modernization program critical to Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and Department of Defense (DoD) Fourth Estate Agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Microsoft Intune Solutions

The Staff Intune Engineer will design and implement Microsoft Intune solutions that meet end-user requirements, ensuring seamless integration with other Microsoft 365 services.

Create and Manage Intune Policies

The candidate will create and manage Intune policies for application deployment, device compliance, and security configurations, ensuring alignment with broader infrastructure goals.

Design and Deploy Windows 10 and 11 Provisioning Processes

The Staff Intune Engineer will design and deploy Windows 10 and 11 provisioning processes using Intune Autopilot, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions.

Configure and Manage Windows Update for Business Policies

The candidate will configure and manage Windows Update for Business policies, ensuring timely and secure updates for Windows devices.

Develop and Maintain Standardized Windows 10 and 11 Deployment Images

The Staff Intune Engineer will develop and maintain standardized Windows 10 and 11 deployment images, ensuring consistency and efficiency in deployment processes.

Design and Manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) in Active Directory

The candidate will design and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) in Active Directory to enforce security and configuration policies, ensuring alignment with broader infrastructure goals.

Implement Security Best Practices and Compliance Policies

The Staff Intune Engineer will implement security best practices and compliance policies within Intune, ensuring robust security and compliance for Microsoft Intune solutions.

Monitor and Respond to Security Incidents

The candidate will monitor and respond to security incidents related to mobile devices and endpoints, ensuring timely and effective incident response.

Create Detailed Documentation

The Staff Intune Engineer will create detailed documentation of Intune configurations, Windows provisioning processes, and Group Policy settings, ensuring knowledge sharing and efficiency within the team.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 8-12 Years of Prior Relevant Experience

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or a master's degree with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.

Ability to Obtain and Maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, with US citizenship required.

Experience Designing and Implementing Microsoft Intune Solutions

The candidate must have experience designing and implementing Microsoft Intune solutions, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Familiarity with the Atlassian Suite

The candidate must be familiar with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence.

Current IAT Level II (or Higher) Certification

The candidate must possess a current IAT Level II (or higher) certification, such as Security + or CISSP.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant Certifications

The candidate is preferred to have relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Intune Expert.

Active DoD Secret Clearance

The candidate is preferred to have an active DoD Secret clearance.
