About the Role

As a CBRE Mobile Building Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on building systems, equipment, and grounds.

This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services team and requires a strong understanding of commercial HVAC and electrical systems maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems
  • Review assigned work orders and estimate time and materials needed to complete repairs
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life
  • Review inspections of building and industrial systems to ensure operation within design capabilities
  • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and work safety

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Strong HVAC and proven experience as a building engineer; minimum of four years
  • EPA certified
  • Microsoft Office and CMMS experience
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in two or more of the following: Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC and Refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair
  • CFC Certification
