Job Summary

Veolia is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operation of our Drinking Water facility, including all related infrastructure, equipment, buildings, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance activities, including technical operations and repairs, to ensure the facility's equipment and systems are functioning properly.
  • Conduct regular inspections and monitoring of the facility's infrastructure, equipment, and processes to identify and address potential issues.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal facility performance.
  • Collaborate with project management and other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Respond to emergencies and perform work as required to complete tasks and ensure facility operations are uninterrupted.
  • Participate in the development of a culture of focus and engagement at the facility to achieve Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) excellence.
  • Complete and maintain accurate operational and maintenance records and documents.
Work Environment

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to various weather conditions. The candidate may be occasionally exposed to noise, silica, dust, fumes, smoke, gases, greases, oils, electrical energy, solvents, and vibrations. The candidate may work on slippery/uneven surfaces, around machinery with moving parts, moving objects/vehicles, and ladder/scaffolding, below ground, and may be exposed to water and other liquid materials.
