Job Overview

US Army Child and Youth Services is seeking a skilled Child and Youth Program Assistant to work in their Child Development Center or School-Age Center. As a CY-01/02, you will be responsible for providing full-day care for children 6 weeks through 5 years at the CDC or K-5 before and after school at the SAC.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain control of and account for the whereabouts and safety of children and youth.
  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct activities that meet the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs of program participants.
  • Establish a program environment that sustains participant interest and promotes positive interactions with other children, youth, and adults.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
  • Must be able to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.

Benefits

  • Estimated Salary: $38,000 - $50,000 per year.
  • Regular Full-Time positions work 40 hours per week and are eligible for benefits.
  • Flex-10 positions work 10-40 hours per week.
