Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Maintenance Technician to join our team at McLane Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our material handling equipment and facility support systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers.
  • Assist with maintenance requirements for refrigeration systems, plumbing, building lighting, welding, dock doors, air systems, racking, tote washer, and air spray painting.
  • Maximize availability of batteries by managing charging cycles and battery rotation.
  • Conduct inspections and cleaning, perform specific gravity checks, and evaluate cable serviceability and repair damage.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the McLane Maintenance Connection database.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in industrial maintenance.
  • At least 1 year of maintenance experience with material handling equipment.
  • Able to read and understand electrical schematics.
  • Experience with distribution center industrial equipment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
  • Basic computer skills with experience in a maintenance database.
