Job Overview

Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be capable of standing, walking, climbing stairs, and bending over throughout the shift.
  • Skills: Mechanically inclined, production-oriented, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word).
  • Licensing: A valid Driver's License with a clear driving record is necessary.
  • Equipment Experience: Prior experience operating forklifts is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct visual inspections of various automotive components to ensure quality standards.
  • Pack parts according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Operate and maintain Shot Blast equipment, including loading and unloading components.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the shot blast room and work area throughout the shift.
  • Utilize computer systems and barcode scanners for accurate lot traceability of components.
  • Comprehend production schedules and daily assembly requirements to meet operational goals.
  • Assist in other operations during periods of reduced shot blast demand.
