Join Our Team as a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii, LLP. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and timely test results to support patient care.

About the Role

This Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician position involves performing routine and complex analytical tests on human body fluids and tissues to provide accurate data to the healthcare team. You will work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards, championing safety, compliance, and quality control.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and complex analytical tests on human body fluids and tissues
  • Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards
  • Champion safety, compliance, and quality control
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in medical technology or related science from an accredited program
  • Current and active certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) as a laboratory scientist (MLS), formerly known as MT/CLS or American Medical Technologist, as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) (AMT)
  • Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to telephones, computers, automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, manual and automated pipettes, and audible alarms
  • 2+ years of laboratory experience in a hospital/commercial lab setting
