Job Overview

The Facilities Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of all center facilities and equipment. This position involves maintaining both the interior and exterior environments, conducting routine maintenance on mechanical systems, and keeping detailed records of maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of center facilities and equipment.
  • Perform basic repairs in plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and landscaping.
  • Conduct internal cleaning duties to uphold the overall hygiene of the premises.
  • Manage external cleaning tasks, including lawn care and snow removal as necessary.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and service providers.
  • Occasionally perform errands outside the center.
  • Adhere to all center policies and relevant state regulations.
  • Develop and maintain a personal professional growth plan to ensure ongoing quality enhancement.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • A High School Diploma.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a comparable role.
  • A responsible, mature demeanor with a strong focus on safety.
  • The ability to meet the physical demands associated with the role.
  • A clean driving record.
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check.
  • Passing a health screening.
Preferred Qualifications
