Key Responsibilities- Deliver and Coordinate Quality Patient Care: Provide skilled nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and developed care plans.
- Assess and Report Patient Condition: Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs, reporting changes to the supervisor and/or physician as appropriate.
- Document Patient Care: Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
- Participate in Nursing Care Planning: Participate in the development and implementation of nursing care plans, updating as necessary.
- Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current, Unrestricted State License: Must have a current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
- CPR Certification: Must have current CPR certification.
- Experience and Skills: Must have demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures. Six months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting is preferred.
