HCA MidAmerica Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Leawood, Kansas.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients on the CT table, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
  • Start IVs for contrast injection and perform other necessary procedures.
  • Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed to ensure high-quality results.
  • Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions and ensure a smooth transition to the next step in their care.
  • Turn over and prepare rooms using aseptic technique between patients, maintaining a clean and sterile environment.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
  • BCLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Two years of experience preferred, with additional training in CT scanning.
  • On-call requirements and ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call-back.
