Job Title: Cardiac Catheterization Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team at HealthEcareers - Client. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The Cardiac Catheterization Technologist will assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiology procedures in the catheterization lab. This includes preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a sterile environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiology procedures
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure and obtaining informed consent
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
  • Maintain a sterile environment, including preparing and cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program
  • Current BCLS certification required within 30 days of start date and maintained
  • ACLS certification required within 6 months of employment
  • Active RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RT licensure preferred
