We also emphasize CAREER ADVANCEMENT and much more.POSITION SUMMARY: This role is accountable for overseeing all facets of electrical coordination and upgrades within the facility, including leading and mentoring a team of electrical technicians. You will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to implement and uphold electrical policies and procedures while ensuring a safe and organized work environment. Your ability to quickly diagnose issues will be crucial in minimizing production downtime. Familiarity with SQF Quality Management standards and GMP practices is essential to ensure compliance among electrical staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess the capability and experience to lead, assess, and train a team of 15 electrical technicians; effectively monitor and reduce equipment downtime; troubleshoot basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, and electronic (PLC) issues and assist with repairs; promote a culture of 'Safety First' among team members; and develop and sustain an efficient preventative maintenance program for machinery and the facility.
Education: An associate degree or completion of a relevant college program is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a maintenance leadership or supervisory role with direct reports is preferred. Experience in guiding, assessing, and training electrical technicians is also preferred.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to listen and comprehend spoken ideas. You should be able to articulate concepts clearly in writing and understand similar communications.
Technical Skills: Basic PLC knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) at an intermediate level are required. Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
