Primary Responsibilities:
We are seeking a civil/structural engineer to enhance our growing professional telecom services team. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 8 years of relevant structural telecom engineering experience. Experience in the forensic sector is a plus and will be given special consideration. This remote role requires local and regional travel. Candidates are preferred to hold a Professional Engineer license in their resident state.

Key Duties:
1. Conduct structural analysis of towers, mounts, platforms, water tanks, and buildings for the addition and alteration of wireless telecommunication antennas and equipment.
2. Develop and review comprehensive construction drawing sets, including civil, structural, and electrical sheets, in collaboration with drafters and colleagues.
3. Design steel and fiberglass-reinforced plastic frames and platforms, along with tower and building upgrades, antenna support structures, and foundations.
4. Visit wireless communication sites weekly to gather field data for structural analysis reports and construction drawings.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited institution is required.
- Engineer In Training (EIT) certification is required.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of engineering experience in the wireless telecommunication industry as a civil/structural engineer or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Mathcad is essential.

Skills and Knowledge:
- Familiarity with TnxTower or Risa 3D software (or similar finite element software).
- Knowledge of typical design documents, including structural analysis reports, assessment letters, lease exhibits, zoning, and construction drawings.
- Understanding of finite element modeling and applicable planning and zoning codes affecting site development.
- Basic knowledge of wireless network components, including small cells, antennas, radios, and cabinets.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Strong analytical and interpretive skills, along with organizational and interpersonal skills.
