Job Description

Nolan Mackenzie Development LLC seeks a highly skilled Full-Stack Developer Lead to enhance and expand functionality for the current intake of firearms-related crime incidents. This role will collaborate with the IT Division to support development and enhancement efforts associated with internal and external gun crime tracking processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to 2-week sprints to develop the Gun center module for the Delta+ windows application suite.
  • Create tasks for PBIs based on user stories, ensuring timely completion within required timeframes.
  • Write code for WinForms in C# and VB.net using DevExpress controls, maintaining adherence to up-to-date security standards and technologies.
  • Perform thorough testing and code reviews to guarantee high-quality deliverables.
  • Improve existing systems within MDSP through requested enhancements to the Windows applications, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Assist with upgrading the system and modules within the existing framework of Windows applications, adhering to latest technology and security standards.
  • Maintain existing source code improvements to keep the Windows applications up to date and secure.
  • Evaluate WCF web services to ensure they use the most up-to-date security standards and technologies as needed.

Deliverables:

  • Complete and test PBI tasks within the required timeframe.
  • Contribute to concise, clearly written documentation.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of seven years in software development delivering mission-critical tools and applications.
  • At least three years of software development experience for mid to large corporations or non-profit organizations, including consistent and recent use of C#, VB.net, Windows Forms, and WCF services.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
