Job Summary

The Director of Housekeeping is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards. This role involves leading the entire Housekeeping Department, including rooms, front/back of house, public areas, and laundry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in hotel operations and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Housekeeping Department to ensure high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Train and develop Housekeeping staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and control expenses to ensure the department operates within budget.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Must be proficient in Windows operating systems, Company approved spreadsheets, and word processing.
  • Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state.
  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
